HEAD CHEF
This is a big one for us! After 5 years of Sarto we’re looking for someone to head up the kitchen to lead us into the next chapter.
Sarto Pasta, found in Munro House, Duke Street, is looking for a dynamic, creative and passionate individual to head up our kitchen team.
Operating from an open plan, ground floor kitchen you’ll be leading service holding influence over the dishes created within it.
The creative aspect of the role requires experience and knowledge of working with fresh pasta and developing suitably interesting snacks and sides.
Consistent menu development and management of back of house due diligence and administration responsibilities is required.
Previous experience in a head chef position is preferred, but we are willing to consider the right candidate who is looking for their first step into an exciting leadership role if they can demonstrate the skills and personality we’re looking for.
Any applicant will be able to demonstrate:
-At least 3 years in a fresh food led kitchen in a commercial setting
-A CV that demonstrates progression through the ranks
-Experience of taking leadership and an ability to enthuse & motivate a team without being all shouty.
-Knowledge of seasonal produce, and how that can apply to the cuisine and style we serve.
-A comprehensive understanding of costings, management, budgets, rota’s & the allergen/EHO regulations.
Hours per week: 40
Salary: 28,000 – 32,000 + TIPS (circa £400 a month)
